What is everyone doing this week??? Any big plans????
I have a PTO meeting tonight...to get ready for our big spring carnival in a few weeks....
and then this weekend Keith and I are doing readings for a friends wedding, so that is what our week looks like!

| Well. I work all week. Wednesday I am OFF, so I have an appointment with the caterer (we r going cheap cheap CHEAP!!!). Then Wednesday night I have dinner with the photographer. I hope everything works out with her. Shes still working on her portfolio so she wants to do our wedding for free and I hope we click with her. Then this weekend my best friend from cincy is having her bridal shower!! woo hoo!! |

I loved doing all that stuff to get ready for our wedding, it was sooo much fun!!!!

Well, I have doctor's appt. on Friday morning, and we're going up to see Mom & Dad on Saturday (if Tim's over his  by then).
Yes, we old folk lead extraordinarily exciting lives!

I'll be going to the grocery store tonight.
Finishing up my mother's day cards. Making some pop top cans and getting a presentation together for monday's meeting.
I've got a pre-op appointment on the 9th.

Yesterday, out of the blue, my husband has laid out about 4-5 different Lowe's and Home Depot ads. He's got his graph paper, pencil, measuring tape out. He's walking around measuring stuff.
Then he starts talking to me about painting basicly the entire house. (he is not the one who actually paints... he merely suggests the idea)
He's talking about rebuilding the deck. * I don't blame him on that one. They used the crappiest wood available and didn't treat it because it is warped and splintery (not a word?).
He's talking about tiling the backsplash in the kitchen. He is on a remodel kick that sprung up from ???
I think it's the memorial day specials that the stores are giving all military 10% off that has him wanting to spend money we don't have.

Uh oh!!  That's pretty scary. Sounds like he wants to stick a lot of irons in the fire. I hope, if he really wants to go through with all of this, that he lets you get the rest you need.

Last night we bought all the wood and hardware for him to do the deck! Less than $300, so not that bad.
He doesn't plan to start until next weekend so that I can fully recover first.
Today, we'll be going and getting paint for the bathroom and the 3 yr old's room. *I had already painted his room a nice green, but now it doesn't match anything and I had a brainfart moment and touched up with a different shade of green!*  |
